Independence lives in Ukraine’s DNA

Independence is not just a word. It is our blood, our hearts, our pain, and our pride. It is our ancestors who fought for centuries for the right to be free. It is our soldiers today who hold the frontline and prove to the whole world: Ukrainians cannot be broken.

We pay a terrible price for freedom, but that is why it is sacred to us. It lives in our DNA, in every breath and every step. They tried to take away our language, our culture, our right to exist – but we stood and we still stand.

Ukraine is the unbreakable spirit that lives in each of us. It is the strength born from love for our native land. It is faith in victory – because there is no other path for us.

Today we say to the whole world once again: we are free, we are strong, we are Ukrainians. And we will definitely win.
